SouthCoast Aikido offers workshops on breathwork.
Breathwork refers to specific breathing patterns that have a profound effect on one's physiology. These breathing methods promote a feeling of wholeness, stability, and powerfulness.
Through engaging in specific breathing patterns, you learn to release tensions that have been accumulated from different life stressors and circumstances. You restructure your body to be in a calm, relaxed, and powerful state where YOU have control of YOURSELF.
These methods allow you to trigger the relaxation response on demand, give you the ability to energize and reorganize your body, and even work to change your PH balance. A change in your PH balance can help improve your immune system and help fight off illness and disease. These breathing methods also put one into a blissful state that is immediate and apparent. Retake control of you!
These workshops are open to everyone. You do not have to be a member of SouthCoast Aikido to attend. All are welcome, and we hope to see you.
