SouthCoast Aikido offers workshops on breathwork. Breathwork refers to specific breathing methods that have a profound effect on one's physiology. These breathing methods promote a feeling of wholeness, stability, powerfulness, and a sense of well being.
Through engaging in specific breathing patterns, you can learn to release tensions that are accumulated from life stressors and circumstances, and how to restructure your body to be in a calm, relaxed, and powerful state where YOU have control of YOURSELF.
These methods allow you to trigger the relaxation response on demand, give you the ability to energize your body, and even work to change your body's PH balance. A change in your PH balance can help improve your immune system and help fight off illness and disease. These breathing methods also put one into a blissful state that is immediate and apparent. Retake control of you!
These workshops are open to everyone. You do not have to be a member of SouthCoast Aikido to attend. All are welcome, and we hope to see you.
