SouthCoast Aikido is a small dojo with large spirit. We train with integrity and sincerity and strive to bring out the best in all our students. Our goal is to serve everyone in the community who is looking to learn martial arts. If you are looking to deepen your own path, or are searching for a martial art that is rooted in philosophy and spirituality, whatever the reason, self-defense, personal growth, an alternative to MMA, a new hobby or just curiosity, please come join us.
All of our instructors are certified Aikido instructors and even have experience working with children and young adults with special needs. We use Aikido training to promote stability, harmony, peace of mind, and health - and not just in the dojo, but in all aspects of your life.
Students not only gain self-defense skills, but also skills that will enhance their relationships -both personal and professional. You will undergo positive character development, gain leadership skills, and heal deficiencies in both your body and mind. And most importantly, Aikido training greatly reduces stress and is fun. We are built on a community that believes in giving back and supporting each other to achieve their goals. Join us, at SouthCoast Aikido in Dartmouth.
